Singapore Airlines is offering 5,000 free miles to new KrisFlyer members that enroll between March 4 and March 31, 2015.
The catch is that the promotion is only valid for Australian enrollments, so presumably you'll need to register with an Australian address to be eligible.
Simply enter promotion code KFACQPU in the promotional code box under communication preferences when registering.

Early last year Qantas announced a restructuring after some horrible financial results, and it seems that has worked well, as they turned a profit of ~$367 million in the second half of last year.
It seems as part of their turnaround they're doing more to invest in their first class product, and are now offering caviar in first class.

Yesterday I was booking some hotels in Europe and the Middle East, and when I first made a reservation I made a common mistake.
In the US I'm so used to just making reservations for one guest, since the cost for single and double occupancy is almost always the same. However, that's often not the case in Europe, the Middle East, etc.
For example, booking the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, the single occupancy rate for a night was ~$209:
