Link: Register for Free "Dream Trip" CourseAttention, everyone! My travel hacking colleague Stephanie Zito and I will be teaching an all-new online course starting later this month, and I'd love for you to join us. We previously taught a one-day workshop that was watched live by more than 12,000 of you. The feedback we got after that one was: “Whoa, this is great—but there’s so much info!” For this one, we’re teaching everything through 30 short, action-packed lessons (a new one unveiled each weekday once we begin on April 26) and focusing on something more specific. It’s not just “earn a ton of miles and points,” although we'll certainly show you how to do that. More importantly, it’s about taking a dream trip, going somewhere you’ve always wanted to but haven’t planned for or thought was too expensive. Many hotels in Venezuela, especially smaller and boutique properties, are asking guests to bring their own toilet paper and other essentials. When a water tower was built next to and denoting the new Florence Mall, it raised concerns about being a large advertisement and thus breaking the law. But that was nothing that a couple of stripes and an apostrophe couldn't fix.
The tower was built in 1974, with the words "Florence Mall" painted on the dome. The Bureau of Highways wrote to Florence's then mayor, C.M. "Hop" Ewing, that the tower was advertising the mall and that since it was much larger than highway advertising laws, the paint would have to be redone. The mayor along with civil staff came up with an admitted "corny, but cost-effective" solution of just repainting the M to make a Y, and then adding an apostrophe to make the "Mall" a "Y'all," Southern American English's second person plural pronoun. The repainting took less than $500 and created a landmark.
While the tower has been repainted over the years, the unconventional fix still remains and has even lent its name to the Florence Y'all Festivals in the community.

Seats have been the biggest premium cabin innovation, with a huge leap forward in business class that limits the quality difference with first class. For instance, Singapore Airlines first class is four seats across in the cabin — and so is business class. That leaves only so many places to go as airlines compete for lucrative high yield passengers. So what’s next? From The Onion: …the airline’s most valued customers should ignore the escape path lighting along the aisle and instead follow the green lighting on the first-class seatbacks to a secret hatch just behind the forward lavatory. “For your convenience, in the event of an emergency, a bulkhead will automatically close and seal off the first-class cabin from the economy cabin, giving you ample legroom while deplaning. In addition, should we experience a sudden…
