A truly disgusting story, and I feel for this family, who found vomit at their seat. I've had similar things happen, and the airline handled things in real-time. United didn't, they offered only that the family could travel the next day. United handled things badly, I think, but was the family really 'forced' into anything?

Earlier today I wrote about Starwood's newest hotel brand, Tribute Portfolio. The brand's motto is "Stay Independent," and it will consist of boutique independent hotels, primarily in the US and Europe.
So far five Tribute locations have been announced. The first Tribute property will be the Royal Palm South Beach Miami, which will be the only Tribute Property in 2015. Starting in 2016 more properties will be opened, including in Asheville, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina.
To celebrate Starwood's 10th hotel brand, they're offering up to 10,000 bonus Starpoints for eligible paid stays at the Royal Palm South Beach Miami through July 15, 2015. Through this promotion you earn 2,000 bonus Starpoints for each stay, so you can earn a bonus for up to five stays.
