Should You Transfer Marriott Rewards To American AAdvantage?

Marriott Rewards is offering a 20% bonus on points transfers to American AAdvantage between October 1 and October 31, 2014.


You can earn the bonus multiple times during the promotion period, and the bonus miles should be posted to eligible AAdvantage accounts within seven business days of the initial conversation activity being posted by Marriott Rewards.

1,000 Bonus Hyatt Points Per Mobile App Booking

Hyatt has a new mobile app, and they want you to use it.


Hyatt is offering 1,000 Gold Passport bonus points for each eligible booking you make through their mobile app between October 1 and December 31, 2014.


To qualify, the reservation has to be made and actual stay has to occur between October 1, 2014, and December 31, 2014. All Hyatt hotels qualify, though their partner M Life properties don't. Here are the full terms:

The Secret Of Flying Singapore Suites

Unless you've been flying regional jets with no wifi this week, you've probably seen the "$23,000 Singapore Airlines Suites Class" trip report circling around social media. As interesting as the report itself are the claims that some of the text and pictures were stolen from other bloggers. I'm not sure whether that's the case or not, though it has added a fun twist to this report.


What's amazing to me though is the comments this story has been getting! Things like:


"That's an insane amount of money! You could buy a car!"


"We should do this! But we'd have to rob a bank first..."


"Too bad I'll never be able to afford that!"
