US Airways MasterCard Anniversary Bonus Staying
One of the big questions surrounding the American and US Airways merger has involved their credit card partnerships. American's co-branded credit card is issued by Citi, while US Airways' co-branded credit card is issued by Barclaycard. I think it goes without saying that Citi will be the "primary" card issuer going forward, however you'd like to define that.
That's why I've long recommended picking up the US Airways Premier World MasterCard®, which offers a 40,000 mile sign-up bonus after the first purchase, with an $89 annual fee. That's a great sign-up bonus, especially for a card that may not necessarily be taking new applicants for much longer.
Anyway, I just received the following email regarding the credit card, which I found kind of interesting:

Video Of A320 Making Three Go Arounds
There has been quite a bit of weather in the UK over the past few days, and it seems like that has been leading to quite a few airplane go arounds.
Check out this YouTube video of Air France 1068, an Airbus A320, performing three go arounds while trying to land in Manchester on Tuesday.
After making a third go around they decided to divert to London Gatwick, where they safely landed on the first try.
Go arounds aren't really unusual. I've had a handful of them over the years, and if anything they're kind of fun, because they show you just how powerful these planes are.

One-way Flights to Europe for $100!
WOW Air is really their name, they’re a low cost carrier with initial promo fares for US service that are advertised from Washington DC (but really departing BWI) and Baltimore to London, Copenhagen, and Reykjavik as low as $99-$125 one-way. Return flights are slightly higher, but total trip costs under $300 to Europe are pretty […]

Air New Zealand’s Latest Hobbit Themed Safety Video
There's no airline in the world as innovative when it comes to their safety video as Air New Zealand. They're engaging, innovative, and fresh. And I actually think they're brilliant.
I know some people argue that safety videos shouldn't be made entertaining, but I disagree. I think the more that airlines engage people with safety videos, the better -- and that's a good thing for safety.
Anyway, Air New Zealand has just unveiled their latest safety video, entitled The Most Epic Safety Video Ever. Here's how they describe it:
