Qantas Now Serving Caviar In First Class

Early last year Qantas announced a restructuring after some horrible financial results, and it seems that has worked well, as they turned a profit of ~$367 million in the second half of last year.

It seems as part of their turnaround they're doing more to invest in their first class product, and are now offering caviar in first class.

Should Hotels Charge Extra For Double Occupancy?

Yesterday I was booking some hotels in Europe and the Middle East, and when I first made a reservation I made a common mistake.

In the US I'm so used to just making reservations for one guest, since the cost for single and double occupancy is almost always the same. However, that's often not the case in Europe, the Middle East, etc.

For example, booking the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, the single occupancy rate for a night was ~$209:

Is This The World’s Most Expensive Airline Ticket?

Earlier today I posted about how Etihad plans to launch A380 flights between Abu Dhabi and New York as of December 1, 2015.

While I've flown the incredible A380 First Class Apartment, there's no arguing that the most hyped up aspect of the plane is The Residence, which is a three room suite with private butler service. There's simply nothing else like it in commercial aviation.

And for that matter there's simply nothing like the pricetag of it either. ;)
