IHG Rewards Club has announced that they'll offer a flash sale on their two InterContinental Alliance Resorts in Las Vegas tomorrow. Through this flash sale they'll offer 50% off IHG Rewards Club redemptions at The Venetian and The Palazzo.
The basic details of the promotion are as follows:
-- Valid for 24 hours, starting at 12PM ET, Tuesday, March 10, 2015
-- Valid for stays between March 10 and December 28, 2015

Okay, when a frequent flyer program announces "updates" in this day and age it's almost uniformly negative. And that's especially true for Delta SkyMiles, which is quite possibly the biggest "innovator" when it comes to airline loyalty program.
Anyway, Delta announced some updates to the 2015 SkyMiles program. The updates are minor, and in many cases they're not even "updates" since they're just rehashing what has already been done. That being said, they are worth covering, in my opinion.

Cathay Pacific offers a reverse herringbone seat in their longhaul business class cabin, which is my favorite business class product out there. Even though they've had it for years now, it's still a cutting edge product, in my opinion.
The great thing about reverse herringbone seats is that they're in a 1-2-1 configuration, so each seat has direct aisle access and a lot of privacy. In a way, it's very similar to the "last generation" first class suites offered by many airlines.
Cathay Pacific will be among the first airlines to take delivery of the Airbus A350, as they have a total of 46 on order, including 20 A350-900s and 26 A350-1000s (what happened to the days where they started numbering aircraft series with -100?!).
